Why Combined (C+CE) pays off.
If you want to drive professionally, you usually need the “Big One” (CE). We almost always recommend training in a direct combined course.
By combining Class C (Truck) and CE (Trailer) in one training course, you save legally mandatory special lessons. This not only reduces costs but also significantly shortens the time to get your license.

Our Truck Classes
From motorhomes to 40-tonners. We clearly distinguish between private use (C1) and professional career (C/CE).
Class C1 / C1E
7.5 Tons
Ideal for heavy motorhomes, ambulances (RTW) or tradespeople.
- Weight: 3.5t to 7.5t GVW
- Age: From 18 years
- Validity: Indefinite (until age 50)
- Qualification: Private usage needs no “Code 95”
Class C / CE
Pro / Logistics
The standard for professional drivers. Trucks over 3.5t without upper limit.
- Weight: Open (e.g., 40t)
- Tech: Air brakes, Trailer
- Age: From 21 (or 18 with training)
- Job: Basis for freight & construction
Code 95
Driver CPC
Mandatory for commercial freight transport.
- Basic Qualification: Accelerated (140h)
- Exam: IHK Theory Exam
- Training: 5 modules every 5 years

C1 & C1E Savings Plan
Even with “light” trucks (up to 7.5t), combined training pays off. Anyone wanting to tow heavy trailers (e.g., boat trailers, horse floats, or ambulance trailers) needs C1E.
The Advantage: If you apply for C1 and C1E simultaneously, the mandatory special lessons are drastically reduced. You save cash and valuable time during training.

The truck license involves more bureaucracy than the car license. We support you with the application.
1. Reports & Application
You need a medical and ophthalmological report. The application at KVR/District Office takes approx. 8-10 weeks.
2. Theory (Block)
We offer special truck theory blocks so you can complete the material compactly and quickly.
3. Practice Intensive
As soon as the application is approved, we start driving lessons. We often schedule double lessons to use driving time efficiently.
