Which Peters branch is right for me?
The three open branches are Haidhausen, Giesing and Haar. The Baldham location at the Rossinizentrum is in preparation; opening is planned for 1 September 2026. Until operator confirmation, advice, registration and training are provided through the open branches.
How does the Haar location differ from Haidhausen and Giesing?
The most important difference: Haar belongs to the Munich district (Landkreis München), not the city of Munich. That means your driver's license application goes through the Munich District Authority (Landratsamt München / LRA) instead of the KVR. Processing times and appointment availability may differ. The training itself is identical in content and quality — only the responsible authority changes.
Can I switch between Haidhausen, Giesing, Haar and Baldham?
Training can be coordinated across the three open branches. Baldham is not open yet; non-binding registration of interest is available through Haar.
Where do I find theory lessons — does it apply to all locations?
Theory lessons currently take place in Haidhausen (Mon + Thu, 2 streams), Giesing (Tue) and Haar (Wed). As a Peters Fahrschule student you can attend any session at any location — fully flexible. Find the current schedule at /en/theory-schedule/.
Which location is best for commuters from East Munich?
Haidhausen is directly connected to the S-Bahn main line. For Haar, Trudering, Baldham and the eastern surroundings, the open Haar branch is currently the point of contact. Baldham remains in preparation.
Where is the driving simulator located?
Our Class B driving simulator is located at the open Haidhausen branch. Appointments are coordinated through the open branches. More about the simulator: /en/simulator/.
Which driver's license classes are offered at which location?
The offers at the open Haidhausen, Giesing and Haar branches are listed on their location pages. Until the actual opening is confirmed, no on-site services are presented as already available in Baldham.
When does the new Baldham branch open?
Opening of the planned location at Rossinistraße 15, 85598 Baldham is planned for 1 September 2026. It remains in preparation until later operator confirmation. Non-binding registration of interest is available through Haar on 089 99865697.
