The minimum driving-school cost for Class B is €2,189.18 with one practice lesson. It includes the 12 mandatory special drives, learning materials and Peters Fahrschule’s presentation fees for the theory test (€115.01) and practical test (€225.17). TÜV SÜD, authority and other external costs are not included.

The displayed minimum driving-school cost contains the base amount, learning materials, lessons, mandatory special drives and the separately listed driving-school presentation fees. Not included are the test fees invoiced directly by TÜV SÜD, authority fees, first-aid training, eyesight evidence, a passport photo and, for truck classes, any required medical or ophthalmological evidence.

The law requires 12 mandatory special drives for Class B (motorway, cross-country, dusk/night). The number of regular practice lessons is not legally specified and depends on your prior experience. On average, students complete 30–40 driving lessons in total, though structured instruction and good preparation can significantly reduce this number.

For Class B, code 197 is not an automatic-only restriction. You complete at least 10 driving lessons of 45 minutes each in a manual vehicle and a manual-skills test drive lasting at least 15 minutes. You may then drive Class B vehicles with manual or automatic transmission. If you later plan to obtain BE, C1, C or another higher class, ask us which vehicle to use for the test because an automatic restriction can become relevant there.

There is no legally mandated minimum duration, but a realistic training period is 3 to 6 months. Faster completion is possible when theory and practical training are done intensively. Factors such as appointment availability, personal learning pace, and TÜV exam dates all play a role.

The minimum driving-school cost for Class A / A2 is €2,211.34 with one practice lesson. It contains the base amount, learning app, 12 mandatory special drives and the listed driving-school presentation fees. TÜV SÜD and other third-party fees are added separately.

No. €115.01 is Peters Fahrschule’s fee for presentation for the theory test; €225.17 is its fee for presentation for the Class B practical test. TÜV SÜD invoices its test fees additionally and directly. For Class B, TÜV SÜD currently lists €24.99 for the theory test and €129.83 for the practical test. If you complete two license classes simultaneously at Peters Fahrschule, you only pay 80 € registration fee for the second class instead of the full price. Concrete savings: B + A/A2 = 479 € savings, B + BE = 239 € savings, C + CE = 289 € savings. The combination is especially worthwhile if you are planning both classes anyway.

Peters Fahrschule has three open locations: Munich-Haidhausen, Munich-Giesing and Haar. Baldham/Vaterstetten is in preparation; its opening is planned for 1 September 2026. No opening hours or on-site services are published for Baldham until a later operator confirmation.
