Ducati Streetfighter V2 – your driving-school motorcycle for Class A in Munich

Idling on Rosenheimer Strasse, the V2 thrum beneath you, 120 hp waiting on your right wrist. This is exactly where respect splits from fear: the Ducati Streetfighter V2 is no beginner's toy, it's your aspiration machine for the open A licence. Master it cleanly, and you can handle anything.

Why you learn in the Ducati Streetfighter V2

What our riders learn on the Streetfighter V2 isn't speed, it's control. The 120 hp from the 890cc V2 are direct, rev-happy and honest: this engine forgives no clumsy hand, so you practise exactly what the open A test demands — smooth throttle metering, clean trail-braking, eyes lifted far ahead. Here the open power isn't an end in itself, it's your teacher of humility. Stay calm when this engine pulls, and you stay calm everywhere. We deliberately dial the electronic aids (riding modes, traction control, quick shifter) back to a learning level rather than letting you lean on them. Because you ride the test yourself — with your head, not the software. That mindset, respect for the power plus total focus on the machine, travels with you onto every bike afterwards.

Technology & equipment at a glance

Engine 890cc V-twin — the two-cylinder delivers torque directly, you feel every throttle command instantly and learn fine metering instead of full throttle.
Power approx. 120 hp, relevant for the open class A test — this reserve demands respect and shapes you into a calm, anticipating rider.
Safety & assistance Cornering ABS, traction control, riding modes, quick shifter — learning aids, not autopilot: they back you up while practising, but in the test you ride.
Cornering ABS Brakes in a controlled way even at lean angle — you practise clean cornering braking without fear, a core point of A-class training.
Quick shifter Clutchless shifting — used sparingly on purpose, so you first master the classic clutch shift the test expects.
Seat height approx. 838 mm — a firm sporty height; at the trial sitting we honestly check whether you stand securely, because a solid stance is the basis of all control.

Assistance systems are a learning aid – you take the exam yourself.

What you may drive

With its approx. 120 hp the Streetfighter V2 is an open class A motorcycle (over 35 kW, no power limit). Pass your A test on this machine and you may then ride any motorcycle without power restriction. It is not meant for A2 or A1 — riders starting there train on a suitable restricted bike and step up later.

Locations & test area Munich East

Picture the on-ramp from Rosenheimer Strasse toward the Mittlerer Ring in Berg am Laim: a short acceleration lane, then merge briskly. Here you feel at once why the open power demands respect — a touch too much throttle and you shoot ahead. We drill exactly this measured throttle roll-on while merging until it's second nature.

Locations: Haidhausen (Rosenheimer Str. 86), Giesing (Grünwalder Str. 12) & Haar (Münchener Str. 13).

Frequently asked questions

Isn't 120 hp too much for driving school?

No — the open class A test is taken on exactly such a powerful machine. We build you up step by step: basic exercises on the range first, then traffic. You learn to respect the power, not to fear it.

Do the assistance systems help me in the test?

They give you confidence while practising, but you ride the test yourself. We use the quick shifter and the like sparingly on purpose, so you fully master the classic controls.
